Within the Ministry of Health and Prevention’s strategy aims to develop the health system in the United Arab Emirates, through the preventive aspect establishment and the provision of comprehensive and integrated health care in innovative and sustainable ways to ensure the protection of society from diseases, and support the national immunization programme, by providing high-quality preventive services consistent with global best practices, the Ministry has launched the World Immunization week to raise awareness of the importance of vaccinations targeting the citizens and residents of the community
Objectives
Through this consultation, the Ministry aims to measure community awareness of the importance of adhering to the national immunization schedule, in addition to monitoring the public's views and suggestions, aimed at raising vaccine coverage rates to meet the health-related targets of the National Agenda 2021 and the Sustainable Development Objectives 2030
Decision
After monitoring the opinions and proposals will be presented to the specialists and then develop the services through updating the National Immunization Program according to international standards
