World Environment Day is an international day celebrated to raise awareness of the dangers of environmental pollution. It encourages businesses, societies, and individuals to adopt responsible behaviors to preserve biodiversity and marine life and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

On this day, World Environment Day became one of the largest global platforms for environmental awareness over the past five decades. The year 2023 marks the fiftieth anniversary of World Environment Day.
