The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has commemorated Flag Day at its offices throughout the UAE, including its headquarters in Dubai, following the directive of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to simultaneously raise the UAE flag across various institutions and ministries.
With ministry leaders, department directors, and employees in attendance, the celebration took on a festive tone, resonating with expressions of loyalty and a steadfast commitment to the nation and its wise leadership.
The event featured the ceremonial raising of the flag and the recitation of the oath of allegiance to the nation under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Participants pledged to continue their dedicated service and maintain the high standing of the national flag.
MoHAP senior officials emphasised that Flag Day is a significant occasion for fostering national cohesion, underscoring a resolute commitment to keep the flag flying high. It symbolises national sovereignty, the remarkable achievements of the UAE, the strength and pride of the Union, and a steadfast dedication to advancing progress, well-being, quality of life, and happiness for all citizens and residents of the UAE.
