Enhancing Nursing Attractiveness Using Virtual Reality (VR)
Also, the ministry highlighted a new nursing educational and promotional project. It’s built on the 3-Dimensional Virtual Reality (3D – VR) and is tailored to make the learning experience more attractive and interactive.
The project is targeting secondary school graduates and visitors to further highlight the importance of the nursing profession and motivate individuals to study nursing.
Through this project, visitors will go through a virtual journey into the nursing world including emergency units, the Intensive Care Nursery (ICN), in which they will face some medical situations which require a medical intervention to rescue patients through simple methods.
M-Gene Project
Moreover, MoHAP showcased the M-Gene project, one of the latest methods to detect genetic diseases in the newborn. The AI-based project is carried out in collaboration with the Sheikh Zayed Institute for Pediatric Surgical Innovation and the Children’s National Medical Center, Washington.
The M-Gene project provides a smart tool offering a diagnostic face reading for the newborn using a smartphone app with no need to conduct a blood test or any other specialized analyses.
The Smart Vaccination APP “Tateem”
In the same context, visitors to MoHAP’s platform explored the latest updates of “Tateem” app, which is tailored to remind and stimulate the individuals to follow up on the vaccinations of children, adults and travelers and places where they can receive these vaccines.
The app stores on its database the children’s vaccination appointments, so that parents can easily obtain their children’s vaccination information.
