HE Abdulrahman bin Mohammad Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), has stressed that the Federal General Budget 2023-2026 approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai, will fuel the UAE’s journey towards greater excellence, successes, and a brighter future that promises the nation the best government services in all vital sectors.
“The UAE, under our wise leadership, will boldly bridge the future toward the UAE Centennial 2071, while maintaining the wellness and quality of life for every Emirati," the minister said.
Al Owais emphasized that the Federal General Budget is exceptional in that it is both sustainable and balanced, reflecting the UAE's ambitions. It symbolizes the nation's balanced approach and the wise leadership's goal to keep the country marching forward towards greater successes over the next 50 years. It also serves as a significant catalyst for the UAE's transition to sustainable development and strengthens the country's position as a top destination for the health, innovation, digital transformation, and emerging markets.
“The UAE leadership prioritizes the health sector when formulating national plans, and we at the Ministry of Health and Prevention are committed to developing and enhancing the efficiency of the country’s health system to meet the aspirations of the UAE people. Since improving the quality of life in the UAE is the ultimate goal and ambition of the government, we thus will spare no effort in launching transformative projects and qualitative initiatives that integrate the most recent technology into health care,” the minister said.
HُE Dr. Mohammad Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), has lauded the Federal General Budget 2023-2026, which was approved yesterday by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai.
"The federal budget and its large-scale initiatives serve as a road map for the upcoming 50 years. It is consistent with the UAE's forward-looking goal of enhancing and promoting the country’s growth in all economic, health, social, cultural, and service sectors. It will also boost the nation's competitiveness at both the regional and international levels and help realize the wellbeing of the whole Emirati society and its ambitions for excellence and prosperity, Al Olama said.
He emphasized that the health sector is one of the most important priority sectors within the federal budget, which demonstrates the wise leadership's keenness to deliver and enhance health services according to the best global standards.
"To stay up with the latest developments and changes taking place across the globe, the ministry will continue to formulate operational plans in accordance with the federal budget as well as with national health strategies and initiatives. We look forward to further promoting the readiness of our health system by constantly developing and boosting the efficiency of various health institutions around the nation, while also equipping them with cutting-edge technology and medical laboratories," Al Olama added.
