HE Dr Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), emphasized that the UAE celebrates Zayed Humanitarian Day on Ramadan 19 each year to proudly recall the lessons and values instilled by the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, which formed the foundation of the country's approach to humanitarian action and giving.
Dr. Al Olama noted that the country's humanitarian endeavors continue under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, without discrimination based on race, religion, gender, or color.
"Zayed Humanitarian Day offers an opportunity to promote public awareness of the importance of humanitarian action and its role in achieving sustainable development.” Dr. Al Olama urged all individuals and institutions to participate in this noble work by launching humanitarian, voluntary, and educational initiatives while emphasizing the importance of solidarity and unity among all communities to achieve these noble goals.
"MoHAP is committed to supporting government efforts in humanitarian initiatives and projects worldwide, including aiding those affected by the earthquake that struck Turkey and Syria, as part of Chivalrous Knight 2 Operation,", Al Olama said.
