Dr. Sumaya Mohammed Al Blooshi, Chairperson of the National Committee for Nursing and Midwifery Affairs said that reinforcing the nursing profession has been and will continue to be a top priority for the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) now that it is the backbone of any health system.

Dr. Al Blooshi stressed that the adoption of the National Strategy for Nursing and Midwifery (2022-2026) has been a vital strategic move aimed at delivering exceptional care through effective leadership that meets international standards, ultimately contributing to sustainable health leadership for the UAE community.

Dr. Al Blooshi emphasized that success in strengthening the nursing and midwifery professions hinges on key elements such as coordinated national efforts, a unified strategic vision, and alignment of goals among nursing and midwifery leaders and national partners.
