H.E. Abdulrahman bin Mohamed Al Owais, Minister of Health, and Prevention (MoHAP) stated that the UAE is at the forefront of sophisticated countries developing a scientific and comprehensive strategic framework for advancing, strengthening, and governing the nursing and midwifery professions, in accordance with health and prevention priorities, cutting-edge best practices, sustainable trends, and national, regional, and global charters.
Commenting on International Nurses Day, H.E. Al Owais said, "The nursing profession is a fundamental pillar of our country's healthcare system and plays a critical role in advancing universal health coverage. Henceforth, the UAE health authorities are committed to fostering an inspiring and supportive work environment while planning for the future of nursing within the context of a forward-looking strategy."
