The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has announced the launch of an updated version of its app, combining all other apps into a smart, simple, and user-friendly one.
The brand-new app was unveiled on the sidelines of the ministry’s participation in GITEX Technology Week, which is taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre running from October 10 to 14.
The updated app provides an easy and quick access to the ministry’s online services. It was redesigned according to the latest techniques to enhance customers' experiences, and boost usage of digital services.
The bilingual app (A-E) allows users to follow up on the status of their requests without having to visit service centers. It also serves as an educational tool now that it will provide valuable information on a variety of health topics to increase health awareness.
Additionally, the app users will have access to MoHAP’s social media platforms and other service channels, including live chat "Chatbot."
Sustainable Partnership
H.E. Ahmed Ali Al Dashti, Assistant Under-Secretary for the Support Services Sector, said that the ministry attaches utmost attention to enhancing customer experience and ensuring their happiness by fostering relationships, building strategic partnerships, and encouraging them to use our smart services. “We will continue to deliver all of our services in accordance with the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and transparency, while guided by the ministry's strategy, aimed at increasing customer satisfaction and meeting the objectives and indicators of smart government,” Al Dashti added.
He went on to say that the ministry's smart app has been updated to keep pace with best practices and global administrative systems while focusing on 4 indicators, namely; service effectiveness, customer experience, service development, and meeting customers’ demands.
“The redesigned app provides an innovative bundle of digital services that demonstrates the ministry’s commitment to making the most of the latest and most advanced solutions, in line with its digital transformation strategy,” Al Dashti stated.
Digital Services Portfolio
He emphasized that the ministry’s technical staff has handled every aspect of the app development process and that it was completed in accordance with international standards. “We expect that the application will be well received by users and fulfill their expectations since it will undoubtedly broaden the scope of our customer-focused digital service offering,” Al Dashti said.
For his part, Samir Al Khoury, Director of IT Department, MoHAP, said that the modernized app offers numerous advantages, including faster and easier access to all MoHAP services, which will reflect positively on enhancing customers' experiences. Users will also be able to apply for vaccination cards through the Unified Trust Platform within the app, and obtain the digital stamp (attestation) for sick leave certificates, medical reports, and accompanying leaves.
