UAE announces 1,398 new COVID-19 cases, 1,666 recoveries, 2 deaths in last 24 hours

TheMinistryofHealthandPrevention,MoHAP,announcedthatitconducted114,147additionalCOVID-19testsoverthepast24hours,usingstate-of-the-artmedicaltestingequipment.

Inastatement,theMinistrystresseditsaimtocontinueexpandingthescopeoftestingnationwidetofacilitatetheearlydetectionofcoronaviruscasesandcarryoutthenecessarytreatment.

Aspartofitsintensifiedtestingcampaign,MoHAPannounced1,398newcoronaviruscases,bringingthetotalnumberofrecordedcasesintheUAEto111,437.

AccordingtotheMinistry,theinfectedindividualsarefromvariousnationalities,areinastablecondition,andarereceivingthenecessarycare.

MoHAPalsoannounced2deathsduetoCOVID-19complications,bringingthetotalnumberofdeathsinthecountryto452.

TheMinistryexpresseditssincerecondolencestothefamilyofthedeceasedandwishedCOVID-19patientsaspeedyandfullrecovery,callingonallmembersofthesocietytocooperatewithhealthauthorities,adheretotheinstructionsandphysicaldistancetoensurethehealthandsafetyofall.

MoHAPalsonotedanadditional1,666individualshadfullyrecoveredfromCOVID-19,bringingthetotalnumberofrecoveriesto103,325.
