"Marking the International Day for Tolerance carries lofty concepts consistent with the values system in the UAE based on coexistence, openness, and the consolidation of human fraternity as a basic guarantee for the stability of society," said HE Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention.
"Tolerance is an inherent approach in the Emirati society instilled by the founding father, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan in the land of the UAE. And with the utmost attention and care of our wise leadership, the UAE has become a home of love, peace, and coexistence with others,"
Al Olama underlined that embracing tolerance in various walks of life is the key to the success of the UAE's model of coexistence and acceptance of the other, through a number of initiatives launched by our wise leadership, which attaches utmost importance to the role of human values in shaping the state’s journey in the next fifty years.
He said: "This interest in deepening the approach of tolerance has contributed to making the UAE a destination for innovators and aspirants to elevate their lives and an ideal country for living, thanks to the harmony among all members of its society of different cultures and legacies.
