Statements by MoHAP’s Leaders on the UAE Flag Day

HE Abdulrahman bin Mohammad Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention and Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs, stressed that the Flag Day is a national occasion that fuels our pride in the country and reflects the Union's strength, social cohesiveness, and national sovereignty.

Speaking on the occasion of the UAE Flag Day, which falls on November 3 of every year, Al Owais said: "We are fully committed to preserving and defending the UAE flag, the source of our pride and sovereignty, and will make every effort to protect the nation’s gains to sustain our successes under a wise leadership that strives to take our people to new horizons of growth and prosperity."

"On the national flag day, we renew our pledge of allegiance to serving the nation under the leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and to solidify the UAE’s development journey, taking advantage of the milestones that we have achieved in the past 50 years, which has become a source of inspiration for many people around the world."

"Under our flag, we have embarked on our journey towards the next 50 years to boost the UAE’s position among the world's top countries and promote the values of openness, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence among citizens as well as residents," the minister said.

HE Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), has stressed that the UAE flag will remain a source of pride and a symbol of the UAE’s unity and solidarity.

Speaking on the occasion of the UAE Flag Day, which falls on November 3 of every year, Al Olama said: "The UAE Flag will continue to bring all Emirati citizens under the umbrella of sovereignty and pride. The flag day is an occasion to renew our pledge of allegiance to maintain our shared destiny and the strength of our unity.

It is a day to reaffirm that the UAE people are united in their loyalty to their leaders, as well as in their love and eternal affiliation to their homeland.We will make every possible effort to keep the UAE flag flying as high as ever, reflecting the UAE's societal togetherness and national cohesiveness," he added.

Al Olamanoted that the UAE Flag Day has become a notable yearly celebration todemonstrate ourtrue love for the country and pride in its flag, the symbol of our national identity.

The national occasion is not only meant to deepen the values of union and sovereignty, but also to instil the spirit of patriotism and loyalty in the hearts of our children and the cominggeneration, who will continue the march of success initiated by the founding fathers," Dr. Al Olama added.
