The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) commemorated the 52nd Union Day of the UAE with grandeur and patriotic fervour at its headquarters in Dubai and its representative offices across the country.
Aattended by several assistant undersecretaries, directors of departments, MoHAP employees, and guests, customers, and visitors, the celebration was imbued with a deep sense of national identity, belonging, and loyalty to the Union's journey, creating an atmosphere that reflected the country's rich heritage and values.
HE Dr. Amin Hussein Al Amiri, Assistant Undersecretary for the Health Regulation Sector, MoHAP, addressed the gathering, highlighting the significance of Union Day. He emphasized that this day is not only a moment of pride in the country's journey but also a time to renew the commitment to strengthening the union and unity of the UAE.
Al Amiri paid tribute to the founding fathers, whose unwavering determination and sincere efforts were instrumental in building a unified homeland marked by security, stability, and prosperity. He lauded the visionary leadership of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, steering the nation into a new era of leadership and prosperity.
The Union Day celebration involved a series of heritage activities that showcased the UAE's rich cultural legacy. Notable among these was a national march that saw enthusiastic participation from the ministry's leaders, employees, and clients. A highlight of the event was the "Yola" war show, a traditional performance that captivated the audience with its energy and historical significance.
Additionally, children from the ministry's nursery participated in a heritage show, further cementing the sense of national pride among the attendees. The celebration also featured a variety of competitions and activities, each designed to engage participants and honour the spirit of Union Day.
