The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has called on the public, including individuals and corporate clients, to make the best use of its digital services, which were developed to meet their needs, streamline their access to MoHAP's digital and smart services and provide a distinctive experience that improves customer satisfaction and boosts the ministry's digital transformation efforts.
The ministry's digital services include applying for permits to import personal medicines; renewing licenses for pharmaceutical establishments; evaluating health professionals; attesting and approving medical permits and reports; issuing birth and death certificates; renewing pharmacists' and doctors' licenses; issuing certificates of good conduct for professionals in the private sector; and renewing licenses for nurse practitioners and medical technicians.
The services also include issuing permits to import medical equipment, renewing licenses of private health facilities, filing complaints against private health facilities and their medical staff, applying for approvals by the medical committee for retirement or medical disability requests, and requesting a "To Whom It May Concern" certificate for patients and their companions from the employer.
The ministry stressed that it is committed to implementing a comprehensive plan to deliver new health data management solutions in accordance with best international practices, adding that it will continue to upgrade the country's integrated digital health system and enhance its capabilities in order to support the health sector's readiness and improve its services. In addition, the ministry said it would make every possible effort to consolidate the UAE's leading position in the smart and digital services field.
MoHAP's 150 services are divided into four groups: 29 are for individual services, 3 for social services, 116 for business services, and 2 for government services.
