The Ministry of Health and Prevention’s Youth Council (MoHAP’s Youth Council) organized 5 programs and initiatives as part of the events of MoHAP’s Youth Council in the Year of Tolerance.
These initiatives represent a complement of the programme which has been developed upon the directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President, Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and his continued encouragement to bolster the culture of innovation in the institutional work environment.
Ministry’s Youth Competency Development Program
The Ministry of Health and Prevention established the first program for future youth leaders in health, which is the first of its kind in the Middle East and designed specifically for the Ministry of Health and Prevention, to qualify a young leadership capable of transferring the ministry towards the future. The program includes 12 young men and women from the Ministry, providing participants with the opportunity to acquire skills that contribute to creating a supportive environment for innovation and happiness, working on projects to support the national agenda and implementing the Ministry's directives, and also allows learning the art of presenting and presenting these projects, through innovative offerings in a way Competitive 3 teams at the end of April this year.
Virtual Museum Programme (AI Platform)
It is a 3D programme developed in the form of a modern virtual museum exploring the future to encourage secondary school students and doctors to focus on various medical and nursing specialties. The museum was displayed within a special platform at Arab Health 2019 to promote the UAE’s strategy 2021. It is one of the most modern programs that serve the United Arab Emirates ' agenda 2021 and is classified from future ideas.
Success stories stimulate the youth of the nation
The 60-minute event, inspired by one of the steps to draw a career path for the young people of the nation, and inform them of the best experiences and successful practices that have borne fruit, contribute to the development of successive success stories that motivate the youth of the country to replicate them. The implementation of the event over the current year is an affirmation of the pivotal role of youth in the UAE and the building of a national knowledge base for the young people of the Emirates as a force capable of creating positive influences in society.
During the event, life experiences filled with the true experiences of national competencies were reviewed, which contributed significantly to a comprehensive national renaissance, through the collection of multiple stories and different stations of meetings and dialogues, which are overflowing with values that every young man aspires to seek and experimenting
Volunteering Initiative Programmes
MoHAP’s Youth Council has adopted the consolidation of volunteering principles and enhancement of youth’s role, as well as the encouragement of youth to take part in volunteering work. In this regard, a large number of volunteer youth participated in organizing and fulfilling participants’ needs at Arab Health 2019. Also, the Council invited the youth to take part in organizing the events of National Sports Day voluntarily.
Masarek (Your Path) Initiative Programme
This initiative aims to tackle the opportunities available for youth to study abroad and how to apply for scholarships and overseas missions. Giving the chance to the technicians to participate in the available administrative training, and local and world conferences, in addition to opening the door to the raised questions by the youth to the top leaderships, are also one of this initiative’s objectives. The participants in this initiative have reached 100 persons.
