The Ministry of Health and Prevention has joined the nation in celebrating Emirati Women’s Day, with a digital media campaign launched on its social media platforms. Observed this year under the theme "Inspiring Reality... Sustainable Future," the national occasion falls on August 28 of every year.
The digital campaign sheds light on women’s leadership in various sectors and their fundamental role in building the nation, as well as on the inspirational values upheld by H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, Chairwoman of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation, and the "Mother of the Nation", to empower Emirati women and help them better meet the UAE’s aspirations for the next fifty years.
The media campaign included a film produced by the ministry in which it recounts the story of Emirati women’s success and ambition as well as the sentiments of pride in their achievements, which which have gone above and beyond expectations. It also highlights their role in promoting sustainable development in a style that is both artistic and creative.
The video also emphasizes how important Emirati women are to the nation's development, prosperity, and preservation of gains, and explains how they proved to the world that with hard work, diligence, creativity, and innovation, there is nothing impossible.
Additionally, the campaign touches on Emirati women’s journey in the health sector and their role in shaping the sector’s future by involving them in decision-making process.It also describes how these women have achieved success in their careers, families, and societies by juggling their responsibilities as mothers, employees, educators, and role models.
