The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has organised a ceremony to honour the strategic partners of its Ras Al Khaimah representative office in an acknowledgement of their pivotal role and efforts in bringing the ministry's strategic objectives to fruition.

Attended by representatives from federal and local government bodies in the emirate, the event aimed to foster collaborative ties with partners and bolster institutional cooperation.

Sustainable approach

HE Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, said: "Honouring MoHAP partners is a strategic step aimed at strengthening integration and partnerships with government agencies and the private sector, as well as creating a united team for development. Through exchanging experiences, expertise, and best practices, we seek to achieve the highest standards of excellence in line with our Strategic Plan 2023-2026.  Al Olama noted that integrated partnerships empower MoHAP to deliver competitive, high-quality government services that meet the aspirations of the UAE people.

His Excellency emphasized that the ministry's partners play a vital role in achieving its strategy designed to fully enhance the health sector, boost its competitiveness and make it adaptable to fit the UAE’s priorities and trends. “By uniting our efforts with those of our partners in the government and private sectors, we strive to bolster the UAE’s health sector, deliver superior government services, and develop proactive, flexible, and effective business models that promote the national healthcare standards."

Closer partnership ties

For his part, Khalid Abdullah Al Shehhi, Director of the MoHAP representative office, stressed that such events not only bolster relationships with strategic partners from various federal, local, and private institutions but also reinforce the ongoing efforts to strengthen, consolidate, and sustain these partnerships. He noted that partnerships play a key role in ensuring the success of health initiatives and programmes that benefit the community.

Furthermore, Al Shehhi expressed gratitude for the unlimited support extended by the ministry’s senior management, adding that such support has positively impacted sustained quality performance and ongoing development at both institutional and organizational levels.

“We are committed to meeting the needs of all customers and upgrading the health services according to international best practices, as well as keeping partners informed about the latest developments and initiatives, and fostering an effective exchange of experiences to improve the services offered to the community and customers,” Al Shehhi said.
