Ministry of Health and Prevention Reveals November Schedule for Visiting Consultants Program

The Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, has announced the details of its Visiting Consultants Program for the month of November 2019.

10 of MoHAP’s hospitals are hosting more than 22 consultants from all over the world to provide advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services to patients with the latest practices.

Hospitals are distributed in Sharjah, as Al Qasimi Hospital, Kuwait Hospital, Kalba Hospital, Khorfakkan Hospital, Al Qasimi Hospital for Women’s & Children’s, As well as Ras Al Khaimah Obaidullah and Saqr Hospitals, Fujairah and Masafi Hospitals in Fujairah, and Kuwait Hospital in Dubai.

19 Medical Specialties

While the medical specialties of consultants include; Pediatric Neurology, Psychiatry, Anesthesiology and Pain Management, Interventional Cardiology, Neonatology, Pulmonology, Neurology, Pediatric Urology, Pediatric Pulmonology, Emergency Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology (Robotic Surgery), Pediatric Hematology, Immunology, Rheumatology, Orthopedics (Foot & Ankle), Geriatrics, Gastroenterology and Cardiovascular Medicine.

Dr. Sultan Ahmed Al Sharif, Director of the MoHAP’s Visiting Consultants Office, said: “The Visiting Consultants Program is keen on implementing the approved standards while hosting visiting consultants from around the globe, most notably, the high competence, medical expertise in long-established institutions, and the medical specialties that suit patients’ needs.”
