MoHAP conducts 71,282 additional COVID-19 tests in past 24 hours, announces 275 new cases, 94 recoveries, one deaths

TheMinistryofHealthandPrevention,MoHAP,announcedonSaturdaythatitconducted70,079additionalCOVID-19testsoverthepast24hours,usingstate-of-the-artmedicaltestingequipment.

Inastatement,theMinistrystresseditsaimtocontinueexpandingthescopeoftestingnationwidetofacilitatetheearlydetectionofcoronaviruscasesandcarryoutthenecessarytreatment.

Aspartofitsintensifiedtestingcampaign,MoHAPannounced424newcoronaviruscases,bringingthetotalnumberofcasesintheUAEto66,617.

AccordingtotheMinistry,theinfectedindividualsarefromvariousnationalities,areinastablecondition,andarereceivingthenecessarycare.

MoHAPalsoannouncedtwodeathsduetoCOVID-19complications,bringingthetotalnumberofdeathsinthecountryto372.

TheMinistryexpresseditssincerecondolencestothefamiliesofthedeceasedandwishedcurrentCOVID-19patientsaspeedyandfullrecovery,callingonallmembersofthesocietytocooperatewithhealthauthorities,adheretotheinstructionsandphysicaldistancetoensurethehealthandsafetyofall.

MoHAPalsonotedanadditional112individualshadfullyrecoveredfromCOVID-19,bringingthetotalnumberofrecoveriesto58,408.
