MoHAP conducts further 72,026 COVID-19 tests, uncovers 435, 113 recoveries, one death in 24 hours

TheMinistryofHealthandPrevention,MoHAP,announcedthatitconducted72,026additionalCOVID-19testsoverthepast24hours,usingstate-of-the-artmedicaltestingequipment.

Inastatement,theMinistrystresseditsaimtocontinueexpandingthescopeoftestingnationwidetofacilitatetheearlydetectionofcoronaviruscasesandcarryoutthenecessarytreatment.

Aspartofitsintensifiedtestingcampaign,MoHAPannounced435newcoronaviruscases,bringingthetotalnumberofcasesintheUAEto65,341.

AccordingtotheMinistry,theinfectedindividuals,fromvariousnationalities,areinastableconditionandarereceivingthenecessarycare.

MoHAPalsoannouncedonedeathduetoCOVID-19complications,bringingthetotalnumberofdeathsinthecountryto367.

TheMinistryexpresseditssincerecondolencestothefamilyofthedeceasedandwishedcurrentCOVID-19patientsaspeedyandfullrecovery,callingonallmembersofthesocietytocooperatewithhealthauthorities,adheretotheinstructionsandsocialdistancetoensurethehealthandsafetyofall.

MoHAPalsonotedanadditional113individualshadfullyrecoveredfromCOVID-19,bringingthetotalnumberofrecoveriesto58,022.
