MoHAP’s Training & Development Center Organizes its Annual Ceremony for Honoring the Strategic Partners

The Training and Development Center of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) recently organized an annual honoring ceremony for strategic partners, on the occasion of the fourth anniversary of its establishment.

The event aims to strengthen the institutional cooperation with partners and in recognition of their role and efforts in achieving the strategic objectives of the center.

The ceremony was attended by HE Awad Al Ketbi, Assistant Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Health and Prevention's Support Services Sector, Mr. Saqr Al Hemeiri, Chief Innovation Officer, Learning & Development Centre Director, a number of representatives of government and private institutions.

In his remarks, HE Awad Al Ketbi underlined the center’s keenness on strengthening the fruitful relations with strategic partners from various federal and local institutions and the private sector, in view of the key role of partners in the center's success.

He added: “Such partnerships which led to the success of our initiatives and strategies with constant work to enrich their outputs, and to come up with the global standards in our performance levels.”

The Importance of Constant Rehabilitation of Medical and Administrative Staff

Al Ketbi pointed out that the Training and Development Center is part of a project aims at upgrading health services in the UAE and keeping up with the best health and administrative practices globally, to ensure the continuity of development of medical and administrative staff.

“In addition to providing reliable sources in training and knowledge, and enhancing the attractiveness of health professions in line with MoHAP’s strategy aiming to implement global standards in the quality of healthcare for an effective and sustainable health system for a happy society, in line with the policies, directions and plans adopted by our wise leadership to achieve the UAE Vision 2021,” said Al Ketbi.

He went on saying: “I would like to thank our partners either locally or abroad for their key role in achieving our objectives. I would like also to thank our employees for their dedication and outstanding performance, which positively reflected on the constant development in terms of the institutional and operational outcomes.”

Four Years of Achievements

For his part, Mr. Saqr Al Hemeiri showcased the journey of the Training and Development Center since its inception on September 1, 2015, to date.

Al Hemeiri also reviewed another report on knowledge management: the systematic management of knowledge assets at the Ministry of Health and Prevention, with the aim of creating value and meeting strategic needs.

He stressed the keenness of the Training and Development Center to strengthen the management of strategic partnership with a group elite of government and private institutions, underlining the importance of celebrating strategic partners, as a real supporter of success and an essential source for the success of development processes, which reflects positively on the performance of the parties involved.

Al Hemeiri added: “Through this ceremony, we look forward to introducing partners to the latest developments and practices adopted by the Center to exchange experiences and work effectively to update performance indicators, and upgrade the services provided by the center. We aim to contribute to the process of sustainable development in line with the strategic plan and the highest standards of excellence. ''

The event comprised strategic partners from institutions, organizations, companies and individual service providers, who have had a distinctive impact on the success of the center’s initiatives and programs.

Panel discussions were held on the sidelines of the ceremony to set the center’s future development plans and projects.
