HE Abdulrahman bin Mohamed Al Owais, Minister of Health, and Prevention (MoHAP), stressed that Emirati Children's Day is a special occasion that mirrors the UAE's deep-rooted values of nurturing and safeguarding children. It's a day that showcases the unwavering commitment and care our leadership dedicates to uplift the young ones, ensuring they are well-prepared to shape the future and be tomorrow's leaders.

He highlighted that this year's theme, "Children's rights to protection," chosen under the directives of H.H. Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, President of the General Women's Union, President of the Supreme Council for Motherhood and Childhood, and Supreme Chairwoman of the Family Development Foundation and Mother of the Nation, underscores that child protection is a national priority and highlights the essential role it plays in ensuring their safety and securing their futures.

The Minister said: “On this special day, it's an honor to extend heartfelt greetings to all children, the beacon of hope and the makers of our nation's flourishing future. Our country consistently leads by example, initiating strategies, laws, and projects that not only reinforce the societal standing of our young ones but also significantly contribute to their holistic growth and care.”

“We, at the Ministry of Health and Prevention, are committed to safeguarding children's rights by deploying every resource and effort to this end and prioritizing the health of our children. By offering a broad spectrum of medical, educational, and preventative services, we strive to preserve their well-being, ensuring they can grow and develop in the healthiest and most supportive environment possible," Al Owais added.
