HE Abdulrahman bin Mohamed Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), stressed that the sacrifices of Emirati martyrs will remain as long as there is life, and will continue to be a source of inspiration from which younger generations draw their power and loyalty to our wise leadership.
"As we celebrate the UAE’s Commemoration Day, we proudly recall the heroic deeds and sacrifices of our martyrs who bravely responded to the nation's call to safeguard their country and preserve its gains and achievements," the minister said.
Al Owais emphasized that the people of the UAE have complete faith in the wise leadership’s capability of driving the nation towards greater excellence and achievements, and particularly upholding, honoring, and glorifying the sacrifices of martyrs.
Their families are also being especially taken care of, not only to express how proud we are of martyrs’ sacrifices but also to demonstrate national cohesion and reflect the willpower and steadfastness of the UAE people’s determination in facing challenges while on the way to making milestones.
The minister stated that the UAE's history is rich in heroism stories written by the blood of our forefathers and grandfathers. “We are incredibly proud of the glories of our founding founders and the heroic sagas of our martyrs.
We will spare no effort to maintain what they have achieved and drive the UAE’s sustainable development forward in accordance with the principles of the 50 and the UAE Centennial vision. We are determined to reach new heights of excellence, leadership, and prosperity, and we will certainly be able to do so,” Al Owais said.
HE Dr Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), said that the UAE Commemoration Day is a dear national occasion to proudly remember Emirati martyrs who lost their lives serving the country and defending its honor and dignity.
"Our martyrs have written the country’s history with glory and honor, a history that will forever remain a source of pride for coming generations. We proudly salute the nation’s martyrs and recognize their legendary sacrifices. We salute the UAE and its wise leadership, which is fortified by the love and loyalty of its people,".
Speaking on the occasion of UAE Commemoration Day, which falls on November 30 of every year, Al Olama stated that the country has a track record of glorious sacrifices and heroism that make it an exceptional and unique example of giving and self-sacrifice.
"The heroic deeds made by the nation’s martyrs have not only advanced the nation towards greater horizons of excellence but also pushed the country’s development and civilization to the next level in accordance with the UAE Centennial 2071 and the wise directives of President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, who has always been keen to catapult the country towards new heights of prosperity and leadership."
"This day symbolizes unity, cohesion, and solidarity between the Emirati people and their leadership. It is an occasion to foster the country's national values and demonstrate pride in our people’s unlimited giving, and courage. Our history is full of heroic epics forEmirati martyrs who wrote with their blood stories of glory, pride, and honor that our fathers, grandfathers, and founding fathers had already started. Following in their footsteps, we will make every possible effort to protect our homeland and preserve its gains in all fields," Al Olama underscored.
