HE Abdulrahman bin Mohamed Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, lauded the 'Science, Technology, and Innovation Policy' approved by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, describing it as a strategic initiative aimed at propelling the development of the health and science sectors within our nation.
“The comprehensive policy, which covers essential sectors including health, is perfectly aligned with the vision and strategy of our wise leadership, and is intended to further cement our country's distinguished status in the global health arena. It is set to significantly enhance scientific research and medical technology advancement, spur innovation in healthcare, and channel investments into projects that espouse innovative and sustainable solutions for the betterment of future generations."
"His Highness' endorsement of the (National Policy for Enhancing Women's Health) in the UAE will bolster the ecosystem, fostering women's health. It is aimed at guaranteeing women access to the highest standard of preventive, curative, and rehabilitative healthcare services,” the Minister said.
“We are committed to actively backing all endeavours geared towards advancing healthcare research and enhancing collaboration and partnerships between the public and private sectors. These collective efforts will certainly pave the way towards realizing the objectives outlined in these national policies, which play a pivotal role in fortifying the nation's leadership and competitiveness across the vital sectors aligned with the aspirations of UAE Centennial 2071," he added.
