As part of a commitment to raising public awareness about the dangers of heat exhaustion and how to prevent it, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) has launched the ‘Heat Exhaustion and Disease Prevention’ campaign. The initiative aims to safeguard the health and well-being of all members of the community, especially workers, by recognizing their efforts during the summer months and offering the support they need to stay healthy and safe on the job.
The campaign reached over 10,000 workers and included free medical check-ups and health consultations to enable early detection of any health issues and provide timely treatment. It also featured awareness workshops on heat exhaustion, disease prevention, and first aid, in addition to distributing educational materials and gifts to workers.
