The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has officially announced the opening of registration for the second phase of the ‘Mu’azzaz’ Project for Healthy shopping malls and centers 2026, with applications open until 30 June.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention confirmed that the United Arab Emirates continues to maintain advanced levels of health preparedness. There are currently no cases of Ebola in the UAE. The relevant authorities continue to monitor global health developments and maintain the highest levels of preparedness and health surveillance.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), in collaboration with federal and local government entities, has continued rolling out the ‘Healthy and Safe Hajj’ campaign as UAE pilgrims return from the Holy Lands.

In a display reflecting the ultimate in readiness and preparedness, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) announced that 100% of UAE pilgrims have received the mandatory vaccinations approved for the Hajj season before heading to the Holy Lands, a step reflective of a progressive national approach to preventive measures and enhanced health preparedness, ensuring optimum protection and healthcare for pilgrims.

The United Arab Emirates is participating in the 79th World Health Assembly (WHA79), convened by the World Health Organization in Geneva from 18–23 May 2026.

Under the patronage of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), the GCC Immunization Summit 2026 concluded in Dubai after bringing together experts, policymakers and public health specialists from across the Gulf region and international organizations. The summit provided a high-level regional platform to discuss the current landscape and future of immunization programs, exchange expertise, and strengthen GCC coordination. It also aimed to enhance health preparedness and reinforce prevention as a strategic approach to safeguarding communities and protecting future generations.
