The unified national platform “Emirates Health” has continued to showcase a suite of key projects and initiatives on the third day of its participation at World Health Expo (WHX) 2026 in Dubai, further cementing the growing coordination between federal and local health authorities under a single national framework. The displayed projects are designed to accelerate the UAE’s strategic shift towards developing health policies and legislative frameworks powered by digital technologies, strengthening decision-making efficiency, and promoting data-driven governance, thereby reinforcing the country’s role as an active contributor to shaping the future of global health.

The Emirates Health Platform, which brings together the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) as well as leading health authorities across the UAE under a unified national umbrella, maintained its momentum at the World Health Expo (WHX) 2026, with MoHAP showcasing the Enterprise Data Warehouse and Disease Registry System “Bayan”.

On the opening day of World Health Expo (WHX) 2026, the Ministry of Health and Prevention, alongside national and emirate-level health authorities, is participating under the Emirates Health platform. Through this national platform, UAE health authorities are showcasing how policy, regulation, and innovation are being applied at a national scale—reinforcing healthcare as a national priority and underscoring the government’s commitment to building the health of a nation.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), together with federal and local health authorities, will represent the UAE at World Health Expo (WHX) 2026 under the unified national platform “Emirates Health”, presenting a cohesive national vision focused on building healthier lives and strengthening long-term well-being across the country.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has launched the "School Canteen Lab" initiative in collaboration with educational sector partners. The project introduces an innovative, experiential model that places students at the centre of developing healthier school meals by involving them in meal preparation and considering their dietary preferences and feedback. The initiative aims to enhance acceptance of nutritious options and improve school canteen offerings. Aligned with the National Nutrition Strategy 2030 and its operational plan, the initiative will accelerate efforts toward establishing a healthier and more sustainable school environment that empowers students in dietary decision-making.
