Dr. Mohamed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, visited Ibrahim Bin Obaidallah in Ras Al Khaimah and Sheikh Khelifa Gynecology and Obstetrics Hospital in Ajman accompanied by Dr. Youssif Al Serkal, Assistant Undersecretary for Hospitals Sector. The purpose of the visit was to review the scope of work in all the departments and acknowledge the services that are provided for the patients in preparation for obtaining the international accreditation.

The visit comes as part of the ministry’s strategy to provide the best health services for both UAE nationals and expatriates and serve visitors of the hospitals and health centers swiftly and easily. It also encourages both the admin and nursing staff to make greater efforts in achieving these goals. The Ministry of Health seeks to enhance the health of community members and individuals in the UAE through providing a comprehensive healthy environment.

At the end of the visit, Dr. Al Olama viewed the current status of the equipments that are available in these health facilities calling for the importance of the renovation of some departments to coincide the modern strategy of the Ministry of Health and the progress of the UAE in all fields.

Dr. Al Olama stressed the importance of providing professional human resources according to the vacant positions. He also called for exchanging old x-ray machines with the new ones as soon as possible to serve in patients, outpatients and visitors quickly.
