Dr. Mohamed Salim Al Olama, Ministry of Health Undersecretary, met with Excellency Jose Salaresh, Spanish Ambassador to the UAE, to discuss bilateral relations in the health field. The meeting was attended by Dr. Essa Ahmed Al Mansouri, Manager of Undersecretary’s Office and Director of International Health Relations.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Undersecretary welcomed the Spanish Ambassador noting his aspirations to improve the bilateral relations between the two countries in medical and health fields. Dr. Al Olama emphasized the consolidated relationships between the two countries especially in the health training and education field and benefiting from the Spanish experience in health facilities.

Furthermore, the Spanish Ambassador expressed his gratitude to the generosity of the United Arab Emirates noting that the relations between the emirati and Spanish people is highly beneficial and useful. The two parties discussed ways of cooperation in the health field and the methods for referring UAE patients to the Spanish Hospitals and health centers. The two delegations also discussed the competencies of professional doctors and importance of health facilities management.
