As part of the societal initiatives that are organized by Sharjah Medical District, the government communications division in Sharjah Medical District organized the “light path” for the pilgrims who are working in the government departments, authorities and organizations. A delegation from Sharjah Medical District visited Sharjah Municipality to provide health awareness lectures, seminars and medical guidelines in cooperation with the health education and promotion section in the district.

Speaking about maintaining the health and safety of pilgrims during haj, the delegation informed the pilgrims with the precautions to be followed before and during haj rituals, provide first aid health bags for pilgrims to contain medical supplies for the treatment of easy cases as well as sterilizers and masks.

Additionally, Mohammed Abdulla Al Zarouni, Acting Director of Sharjah Medical District, stated the initiative comes as part of the ministry’s interest to enhance social and religious partnerships and cooperation with all the government and private sectors. “The organization of such initiatives enhance social collaboration and support between the employees of the ministry of health and other government authorities”, he ended.
