Zayed Humanitarian Day commemorates the humanitarian values instilled in the people by the UAE’s Founding Father, the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan.
Official Date: 19th of Ramadan
This day falls on the 19th of Ramadan which marks the date on which Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan’s passed away — may his soul rest in peace.

- Maintain the UAE’s top position among international donor countries, according to the Economic Co-operation and Development’s 2017 report. The UAE has provided development, humanitarian, and charitable aid to more than 117 countries.
- Promote and enhance the role of the UAE’s multiple humanitarian organizations, such as Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, Al Maktoum Foundation, Dubai Cares, Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan Charitable and Humanitarian Foundation, and many others.
