The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has placed strong focus and attention to the health sector as it aims to serve all individuals residing in the state--both citizens and residents--providing them with comprehensive, world-class health care. In line with this, our role in the Ministry of Health and Prevention is to provide health care that is responsive to the needs of individuals and falling in line with the development and future vision of the state in all sectors and strives to be the world's best in all the services provided to people living in the UAE.
The confidence of our wise leadership serves as motivation for more sincere and sustained action directed to serve our cherished homeland, which reflects a renewed incentive to continue with progress and advancement under the wise leadership of His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE President, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and their Highnesses, Members of the Supreme Council and Rulers of the Emirates.
We are all working closely, guided by a team spirit that look towards achieving national goals and objectives aimed at maintaining the well-being of all the nationals and residents of the state--with services that reflect innovation, sophistication and urbanization, especially for services covering human health and physical & psychological integrity. Healthiness is the central focus of the development and driving force of the global efforts launched by the UAE since it was founded in December 2, 1971. We are all called upon to fulfil our roles, to meet the requirements of constructive national action, to carry out national tasks and duties, to achieve the lofty mission of the state in this vital and important sector, which is concerned with the health of the individual and society.
