The Ministry of Health and Prevention has implemented the global initiative of building child-friendly health institutions in the country according to the standards adopted by the World Health Organization (WHO) and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF). The initiative developed to promote safe breastfeeding methods is being implemented in hospitals, primary healthcare centers, and private hospitals offering maternity services.

Objectives 

• Ensure babies’ optimal body and brain development by establishing clean breastfeeding facilities. 

• Build child-friendly hospitals and medical facilities in line with ongoing efforts to create a safe and friendly society for children.

Decision

The team aims to measure the importance of child-friendly health institutions and the extent to which the community needs them.
