The UAE Government has launched a range of national programs to reduce the prevalence of non-communicable diseases in the country in line with similar global campaigns,  aimed at achieving the National Agenda 2021 objectives to implement a health system based on the highest international standards. As such, the Ministry of Health and Prevention has taken the lead role in raising community awareness of heart disease through its series of initiatives focusing on the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of the illness


Objectives

Through consultations, the Ministry of Health and Prevention aims to measure the effectiveness of its cardiovascular awareness campaigns as well as monitor the public's response, feedback, and proposals to further improve the campaigns


Decision

After measuring the public’s responsiveness and interaction with these awareness campaigns and monitoring all proposals, the Ministry of Health and Prevention is going to further intensify its cardiovascular awareness campaigns to reduce the prevalence of heart disease in local society
