Reducing time and effort for federal government employees-numbering around 98,000-in obtaining sick leave and companion leave, as well as for candidates nominated for federal government employment.

Enhancing data accuracy and minimizing errors resulting from human intervention.

Reducing operational costs by decreasing paper-based transactions.

Customer satisfaction reached 95% according to the results of digital surveys.

A significant reduction was achieved in the number of complaints related to the attestation of medical leave certificates, medical reports, and the approval of sick leave (complaints before the package launch: 527; complaints after the package launch: 182).

The need for customer (employee) intervention was eliminated through the implementation of electronic integration between the Ministry of Health and Prevention and the Federal Authority for Government Human Resources.

Sick leave procedures (without committee review) were automated by 100% following the implementation of electronic integration, transforming the service into an instant service.

Attestation fees were abolished, making the service free of charge in alignment with the Zero Government Bureaucracy Programme and its objective of reducing burdens on customers.

The service was enhanced to become proactive when sick leave certificates are issued by private and government healthcare facilities.

Objective:

In line with the objectives of the Zero Government Bureaucracy Program, this project will review and analyze medical leave processes and reports for federal government employees, enhance the user experience by simplifying procedures, and convert some requirements to proactive or waived demands. Directions from the government will be considered to establish a "once only" principle. Surveys will be prepared and distributed to employees with the aim of testing or improving the initiative through a developmental project for the wellbeing package.

Target Group:

Employees of the Federal Government

Decision Making:

The decision taken is to enhance user experience with federal government procedures, based on survey findings and analysis.
