Digital Health Monitoring Center
The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) will continue to support and stoke the fire of digital transformation in the national healthcare sector while also encouraging the use of artificial intelligence to improve the efficiency and quality of preventive health care services.
Inspired by the wise leadership's directives and vision, the ministry will spare no effort to tackle future challenges, enhance the UAE's reputation as a premier healthcare hub, and boost the country's contributions to proactively addressing health crises on a global scale.
With that in mind, MoHAP has launched the Digital Health Monitoring Center, an innovative digital health AI-powered platform initiative to combat the spread of communicable diseases based on data from international organizations such as the World Health Organization (WHO) and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). Thus, the UAE becomes the first nation in the MENA region to access global health data via a single platform.
The platform is one of the most innovative projects that relies on the latest technology and data centralization to address potential future dangers to global health.
It is designed to support public health objectives and provide data analysis to make effective decisions, reduce the spread of preventable diseases, develop early warning systems, and decision-making to address crises and health threats.
