The Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, announced Wednesday that it conducted 103,199 additional COVID-19 tests over the past 24 hours, using state-of-the-art medical testing equipment.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, represented by Al Qassimi Hospital’s Cardiac Centre, in cooperation with the Patients Friends Committee in Sharjah, successfully performed, on Saturday, 20 free heart surgeries for a number of low-income patients.

In line with the plan of the Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP to get the frontline health workers vaccinated with Covid-19 vaccine, HE Dr. Youssif Al Serkal, Assistant Undersecretary for the Hospital Sector and Director-General of the Emirates Health Services Corporation, HE Dr. Hussein Abdel Rahman Al-Rand, Undersecretary of the Ministry’s Health Assistant Sector, Health Centers, and Clinics, HE Awad Saghir Al Ketbi, Assistant Undersecretary of the Support Services Sector, have taken the first dose of Covid-19.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) of the United Arab Emirates has announced the development of a new digital platform “Tatmeen”, a track-and-trace platform for the country’s healthcare sector to fortify and secure healthcare supply chains. As a first for the region, “Tatmeen” will use advanced serialization and tracing technology to track medicines from production to end-use. MOHAP is partnering with EVOTEQ, a UAE based digital solution provider for the development and operations of the platform.
