HE Abdulrahman bin Mohamed Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has lauded the launch of ‘We The UAE 2031’, a national plan and road map for the next 50 years, by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, as part of the UAE Government annual meetings.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has organized a blood donation campaign in cooperation with PHRMAG, the Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers Association Gulf, at the Dubai Blood Donation Centre, which is affiliated with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA).

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MOHAP) has joined the globe in celebrating the World Diabetes Day, with a special event titled “Let us Prevent Diabetes Before It Starts”, in line with its keenness to raise community awareness about the impact of the disease on the quality of life and highlight the important role of prevention in combating the disease.

HE Dr Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), has stressed that the UAE is among the region's best countries in controlling diabetes according to the highest international standards, thanks to the programs and initiatives launched by the country’s health system.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has attended the signing ceremony of an agreement between Globalpharma, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dubai Investments, and GlaxoSmithKline, one of the world's leading research-based pharmaceutical and healthcare companies.
