The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) conducted more than 5,787 field visits to private medical facilities and over 54 judicial seizures in coordination with strategic partners during the year 2021, to ensure the optimal use and availability of medical products and services to serve the health of individuals and society.

In conjunction with the World Immunization Week, the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) organized a brainstorming session to develop a roadmap to upgrade the national immunization program and sustain achievements in accordance with the best innovative scientific methods by strengthening all capabilities to ensure high vaccination rates across the country.

The World Malaria Day, which is celebrated and observed on April 25 every year, represents an ideal occasion to highlight the milestones and achievements made by the UAE in the fight against malaria. 

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) has recently organized a community event as part of the 'Food for Life' campaign, under the theme 'Together for a healthy Ramadan,' in efforts raise public awareness, improve the health of individuals, and provide them with skills that contribute to strengthening health sustainability.

The UAE Health Council recently held a meeting in Dubai to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation and the integration of health efforts, initiatives, and projects, as well as key health issues and strategic plans, including the standardization of medical licenses for health practitioners, and the establishment of the UAE Center for Disease Prevention and Control and the UAE Food and Drug Center.

On Zayed Humanitarian Day, His Excellency Abdul Rahman bin Mohamed Al Owais, Minister of Health and Prevention, Minister of State for Federal National Council Affairs, stated that the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan's achievements and exploits, may Allah rest his soul in peace, are viewed as a wellspring for Emirati people to explore the highest values of humanity for a leader who laid the foundations of a country based on noble values and authentic Arab traditions.
