The Ministry of Health & Prevention (MOHAP) launched the ‘Enhancing the Attractiveness of the Nursing Profession’ initiative in the UAE, to increase the number of national nurses and make the profession more attractive to students. The initiative provides Emirati students with scholarships, to encourage them to become nurses and qualify them for employment in the field

Objective:

MOHAP has developed a survey to gather the thoughts and perspectives of Emirati nationals, while determining the percentage of people interested in becoming professional nurses. The survey will also gather suggestions on how to increase the attractiveness of the profession in the UAE.

Decision:

The survey aims to analyze the percentage of Emirati people interested in becoming nurses, while understanding their thoughts and gathering their suggestions on the topic. The survey will also contribute to developing the initiative, and increasing the number of Emirati nurses.
