This service enables medical facilities to apply for the cancellation of license (including temporary license) of medical professionals such as like doctors, nurses, technicians and pharmacists.
Service process
- Login to MOHAP website or smart app using the UAE PASS to apply for the service.
- Initiate the application by selecting the medical professional for whom the cancellation is required.
- Review the application details.
- Pay the application fees with fines (if any) and submit.
- Download the cancellation certificate.

- 2 Initiate the application by selecting the medical professional for whom the cancellation is required.
- 3 Review the application details.
- 4 Pay the application fees with fines (if any) and submit.
- 5 Download the cancellation certificate.

Conditions and requirements
- The medical professional must have an active or expired license with the applicant medical facility.
- There must be a registered nurse for every two doctors or two dental assistants for every two dentists after the cancellation is completed. (Not applicable for hospitals)
- Another medical director must be appointed with the facility (in case of cancellation of license of current medical director)
- Another follow-up doctor must be appointed for visiting doctor in case of cancellation of licenses of doctors who are supposed to follow-up on a visiting doctor’s cases)
- A clean professional track record for past work in the UAE is mandatory.
