Emirati Humanitarian Day
Under the title “loyalty and dedication to the late Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan” and implementation of the emirati humanitarian day, Um Al Qiwain Medical District organized the humanitarian day in Um Al Qiwain Hospital in the attendance of Sheikh Fatmah Bint Abdulla Al Qassimi, Acting Director of Um Al Qiwain Medical District, who emphasized the importance of humanitarian deeds in enhancing societal security and integrity among the members of the society, cultural dissemination to the meanings of dedication and loyalty as called by the late Sheikh Zayed Al Nahyan in the younger generations.
The initiative included a number of activities such as the photo corner for the visit of the late sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan to the hospitals in Um Al Qiwain and health centers, documentary films about the charity and humanitarian services that were provided by the late president to countries all over the world in addition to an iftar gathering that was organized for more than 150 laborers.
Furthermore, Um Al Qiwain Medical District in cooperation with the Red Crescent Authority organized a special corner to support the donations of “Suqia Al Emarat” initiative which was launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President, UAE Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai coinciding with the UAE’s strategy and societal responsibilities towards needy people all over the world.
