Ministry of Health and Prevention celebrates UAE Flag Day reaffirming unity and pride in the nation’s flag

The Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP) celebrated UAE Flag Day with a ceremony held at its Dubai headquarters and representative offices across the country. The event began at 11 a.m. with the raising of the national flag on the ministry’s main flagpole, accompanied by the playing of the UAE national anthem, symbolising unity, pride in national identity, and loyalty to the homeland and its leadership.

The celebration was attended by H.E. Dr. Salem Al Darmaki, Advisor to the Minister of Health and Prevention, along with assistant undersecretaries, directors, heads of departments, and employees.

The event featured activities that reflected the spirit of the Union, as participants gathered around the flag to recite the Pledge of Allegiance to the UAE and its wise leadership, reaffirming their commitment to continue the nation’s journey of giving and to uphold the flag as a symbol of glory, sovereignty, and unity.

In his remarks, H.E. Dr. Salem Al Darmaki stressed that Flag Day is a deeply cherished national occasion and an opportunity to strengthen the values of loyalty, dedication, and service to the nation, while reinforcing the flag’s status as a symbol of dignity, sovereignty, and identity.

The ceremony concluded in an atmosphere of patriotism and pride, reflecting a deep sense of belonging and appreciation for the UAE’s achievements under the Union’s banner and a shared aspiration for a brighter and more prosperous future.
