Ministry of Health organizes 6th Travel Road Exhibition for Tourism for employees
Dr. Mohamed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the UAE Ministry of Health, has inaugurated at the Ministry’s Dubai headquarters the 6th Travel Road Exhibition for Tourism, in the presence of major international travel and tourism companies. Organized in cooperation with Middle East travel agency Dnata travel, the exhibition displayed major tourism and hotel offerings for the Ministry’s employees.
Staff members headed by Awadh Seghayer Al Ketbi, Assistant Undersecretary for Support Services in the Ministry of Health gathered at the theater hall to take a closer look at featured tourist attractions in Dubai and other global destinations as well as take advantage of competitive ticket price offerings and economic hotel packages and marine tours. Entry tickets to some of Dubai’s famous tourist sites were given away at the venue.
H.E. Al Olama said the exhibition was part of the Ministry’s efforts to provide its employees with the highest standards of service to improve their work performance and promote cooperation and teamwork. The event also aimed to form strategic partnerships with the private sector in line with Dubai’s Tourism Vision 2020 initiative launched by H.H. Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai. The Assistant Undersecretary extended his appreciation to the travel and tourism companies participating in the event’s sixth edition.
At the end of the exhibition, Dr. Hussein Abdel-Rahman Al Rand, Undersecretary of the Ministry’s Health Assistant Sector - Health Centers and Clinics honored some employees for their significant contributions to the Ministry’s success, while the agencies received Certificates of Appreciation for their active participation in the exhibition and its overall success.
The participating companies included dnata, Emirates Airlines, Flydubai, The Address Hotel, Armani Hotel, Rotana Hotels, Hilton Hotels, Gloria Hotels, Taj Hotels, Maydan Hotel, Bab Al Shams Hotel, Shangri-La Hotels, InterContinental Hotels, Starwood Hotels, Greek Tourism Authority, and Azerbaijan Tourism Authority.
