The Maternal and Child Center in Sharjah held workshop on risk management on Tuesday, 16/09/2014 , in the training room of the center ,and which met with the presence and participation of a large health workers and administrators in various hospitals and primary health care centers affiliated to the Ministry of Health in Sharjah. The opening ceremony of the workshop was held by the chief manager of the center Dr. Hessa Khalfan Al Ghazal welcoming attendees and noting the orientation of the ministry to develop and update risk management strategies where the subject receives the highest priority of the leaders of the ministry , for its importance to minimize the risks and to develop treatment and prevention plans, Which considered a national priority .

AS Mrs. Rasmia Khalil Al Shamsi The head person of risk management committee give a speech pointed to the importance of activating the role of a team of risk management in hospitals and health centers to ensure the development and improvement of ongoing to achieve global best practices and the requirements of institutional excellence of the performance of the government in the Ministry of Health , The workshop has been started by a lecture which was presented by Dr. Amani Abbas Mehdi Specialist Doctor in Anti natal Care department included the types of risks both general and medical ,and reported the damages caused by them, and how to control or minimize the negative impact on society, the institution and the community by Controlling or reducing their negative impact.

Also Amal Juma Barnawi And Wijdan Attya both Presented an emergency plan and evacuation to face all emergency cases are expected to occur and how to deal with it as soon as possible and lies the importance of the emergency plan to identify action steps by seeing the leadership and officials after checking and testing to avoid mistakes and work on the best out with minimal losses, also Mrs. Mohammed Abdulrahman Al-Qattan and Nadia of the UAE Red Crescent Authority in addition to the Engineer Ghaith Radha , Emirates factory for firefighting equipment had shared with informative lectures.

The workshop included practical training on first aid and CPR to revive include ambulance and fractures and wounds and suffocation has been done by the nurse Joumana Hussein Mubarak (international trainer to rehabilitation CPR).

Finally, the workshop concluded honored the sponsor and the bodies of the post and the Organizing Committee and the delivery of certificates for Medical Education
