The Ministry of Health and Prevention honoured the strategic partners of its representative office in Fujairah, recognising their ongoing support for the ministry’s initiatives and programs.

The event, also aimed at strengthening collaborative achievements and fostering institutional relations, was attended by ministry officials, as well as representatives from federal and local government entities in the emirate.

The programme featured a visual presentation highlighting key health and community initiatives launched by the representative office in collaboration with its partners.

The presentation emphasised the importance of continued cooperation and coordination between the ministry and its partners across various sectors—governmental, private, and local—in driving the ministry’s strategic and operational objectives.

Supporting the Ministry's initiatives

MoHAP reiterated its commitment to honouring strategic partners, sponsors, and volunteers, recognising their key role in supporting the ministry’s initiatives, improving service quality, and driving innovation in service delivery. This approach aligns with the ministry’s keenness to carry out health and community programmes in line with the country’s sustainable development goals and national vision.

Sustainable approach to partnership

H.E. Dr. Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of MoHAP, emphasised that strategic partnerships play a key role in driving government excellence and are a staple of the ministry’s strategic plan for 2023-2026. They contribute effectively to boosting the competitiveness and resilience of the health sector while improving the overall quality of life in the UAE.

Dr. Al Olama stressed that honouring the ministry’s partners reflects its commitment to building an integrated health system that thrives on collaboration between government bodies and the private sector.

He added that these partnerships foster the exchange of expertise and best practices, which are essential to providing high-quality government services that meet the aspirations of the community.

By working together, partners can share knowledge and best practices to deliver government services of the highest quality, aligned with the aspirations of the community.

Al Olama further pointed out that the collaboration between the ministry and its partners strengthens the UAE’s leading position in the health sector by developing adaptive, proactive work models and delivering exceptional services.

Dr. Al Olama added that this collaborative approach aligns with the ministry’s priorities to unify efforts across various sectors and achieve the highest standards of excellence in healthcare services.

Strengthening Organisational Partnerships

For his part, Dr. Mohammed Abdullah, Director of the Ministry’s Representative Office in Fujairah, reaffirmed the importance of strategic partnerships in shaping the healthcare system, adding that the ceremony will reflect positively on strengthening ties with partners, sponsors, and volunteers from diverse sectors, both public and private, ensuring that collaboration continues to thrive.

He further said that the success of the office’s initiatives and programs is directly linked to these partnerships, which allow for more efficient responses to community needs. He noted that the ministry’s strategy prioritises collaboration as a key driver for achieving excellence in healthcare and enhancing services to align with the community’s aspirations.

Dr. Abdullah commended the continuous support offered by MoHAP’s leaders, something which has positively impacted the Fujairah office. This support, he noted, enables the office to uphold the highest standards and continue developing strong, successful partnerships that benefit the community in the long term.
