The Ministry of Health and Prevention has inaugurated the EROC Global Forum 2025, the EROC Global Forum, the world’s leading event for ENT, ORL care, and Communication disorders, in collaboration with the Arab Arab ORL Head and Neck Society in the UAE.

Taking place from January 16-18, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre, the forum has drawn 5,000 doctors and specialists, along with senior officials, UAE health sector leaders, heads of Gulf medical associations, and experts from around the globe.

The conference provides a leading platform for scientific exchange, allowing doctors and surgeons to share expertise and explore the latest advancements in otolaryngology and audiology. It also showcases cutting-edge medical technologies and clinical studies, aiming to foster innovation and promote scientific research in diagnosis and treatment.

Forum activities include specialised sessions on the latest techniques in cosmetic and functional nasal surgeries, advanced methods for diagnosing and treating sleep apnoea and snoring disorders, and breakthroughs in hearing improvement surgeries and cochlear implants. The event will offer specialists from GCC countries and the Arab world a venue to collaborate and exchange expertise in head and neck surgeries.

Leadership support

In his opening speech, HE Dr. Hussain Abdul Rahman Al Rand, Assistant Under-Secretary for the Public Health Sector, President of Emirates ORL Head and Neck Society, and President of GCC ORL Head and Neck Society, highlighted that the forum is one of the region's most prominent specialised conferences covering a wide range of specialized fields. These include allergy treatment, head and neck surgeries, cochlear implants, audiology, and swallowing and communication disorders, as well as paediatric medicine and facial surgeries.

His Excellency also commended the exceptional support provided by the UAE's wise leadership for the healthcare sector, reaffirming the nation's commitment to establishing an advanced and integrated legislative health system that guarantees the highest standards of medical care.

Comprehensive scientific program

Al Rand outlined a comprehensive three-day scientific program featuring research papers and discussion sessions led by a distinguished panel of experts and consultants. He noted that the forum will also host a series of intensive training workshops, overseen by renowned global specialists, designed to enhance the skills of resident doctors and equip them with the latest international expertise.

The forum will conclude with a live broadcast of surgical procedures performed by leading international surgeons, providing participants with a unique opportunity to witness cutting-edge medical techniques and protocols in diagnosis and treatment.
