Article (11)

                                 Committees Studying Cases that Need Organ Transplant
               One or more medical committees shall be formed in the national center referred to in Article (10)
               hereof, the members of which shall not be less than three specialized physicians. Such committee
               shall  examine  the  cases  of  patients  who  need  organ  or  tissue  transplant  and  provide
               recommendations  thereon.  It  is  required  that  the  committee  members  shall  be  composed  of
               physicians other than the owners or partners in the licensed health facility in which the removal or
               transplant operation is to be performed.


                                                         Chapter 2

                                     Organs and Tissues Transfer from Living Donors
                                                        Article (12)

                                          Terms of Transfer from Living Donors
               1.  The transfer of human organs or part thereof or tissues may be made only as a donation and
                   from a legally eligible person.
               2.  The donation referred thereto in Clause (1) of this Article shall be registered under a document
                   as per the form prepared by the Competent Health Authority, and to which the donor-related
                   medical reports necessary to the operation of transferring the human organs or part thereof or
                   tissues are attached.
               3.  The donation of transferring human organs or part thereof or tissues shall be limited to the
                   following:
                   a.  Relatives up to the fourth degree.
                   b.  Spouses married for at least two years.
                   c.  Relatives of either spouses as for the other spouse up to the fourth degree.
                   d.  Exchange transfer of human organs and tissues extracted from the relatives of the donor
                       and recipient up to the fourth degree.
               4.  The Executive Regulation of this Decree Law shall determine any other terms necessary to
                   implement the provisions of this Article.


                                                        Article (13)

                                           Terms of Transferring Bone Marrow
               As an exception of Article (12) hereof, the bone marrow extracted from  the minor or legally
               incompetent person may be obtained, provided that the following requirements shall be met:

                   1.  That the purpose of obtaining the same shall be for being transplanted in a parent, son or
                       brother of the donor.
                   2.  A written consent shall be obtained from the donor’s guardian or custodian.
                   3.  The absence of any remedial solutions more effective for the recipient.
                   4.  No damage shall be caused the donor.
