The Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, recently organized a virtual honoring ceremony for blood donors in recognition of their tremendous efforts and their great humanitarian role in saving lives of thousands of patients, as well as to strengthen the spirit of humanitarian and voluntary action through blood donation, owing to its importance in improving patient’s health and in ensuring the availability of sufficient quantities of safe blood and its products in normal and emergency conditions, while taking the best preventive and precautionary measures to curb COVID-19 infection.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, has announced that it has conducted more than 63,000 additional COVID-19 tests.

The Ministry of Health and Prevention, MoHAP, has called the public to take advantage of its electronic channels to obtain a slew of services, including issuing of birth and death certificates or a certified true copy of them. These e-services are available at MoHAP’s website with detailed information about service requirements, required documents, procedures and steps, service fees, and the time elapsed to issue the service.

The UAE government today announced that mosques, prayer spaces, and other places of worship will gradually reopen nationwide from 1st July and operate at 30 percent capacity. The development comes in coordination with relevant federal and local authorities who continue to take all considerations for precautionary and preventive measures.

In line with the Ministry of Health and Prevention’s plans to increase the number of COVID-19 tests throughout the country for the early detection of infections, particularly amongst those who may have had contact with infected individuals, the Ministry has conducted 58,000 additional tests.
