MoHAP’s Undersecretary Honours First Two Emirati Female Doctors Graduated from the Arab Board Programme

During his inspection tour at Al Kuwait Hospital, Dubai, on Thursday 2 May, His Excellency Dr. Mohamed Salim Al Olama, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), honoured, the first two Emirati female doctors, Dr. Fayeza Ahmed Youssef and Dr. Aisha Al Shiba, who were graduated from the Arab Board of Health Specializations. The two doctors, whose specialties are ENT Head & Neck with surgical and medical management, are considered the first batch of Emirati females.

MOHAP has revealed that its Laboratory for genetic & neonatal screening services is the only facility of its kind to provide the neonatal screening testing on a national scale for all new-borns in the UAE--from both government and private segments.
